Year of the war in Ukraine. 365 days of resistance and courage of the Ukrainian people.
On this fateful date, February 24, for the first time on the stage of the Oceana Theater (Brooklyn, New York, USA), stars of world ballet, opera, jazz, rock, and classical music from around the world gathered for a charity concert Stand with Ukraine 365!
Prima ballerinas and dancers from Ukraine, Japan, the USA, and Israel, the best opera voices of America and Canada, Grammy-nominated musicians, and Ukrainian singer Alyosha performed at the concert!
The guests of honor were the fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the legendary "Ptashka," and the mayor of Mariupol, who spoke via video link.
Eric Adams, the mayor of New York, delivered a speech.
" This concert means so much to all the artists who are performing. This concert means so much to the Ukrainian people. Your proceeds will go to continue to give the support that's needed. You may not be able to fight the war there, but you can support the war here. So we thank you for being here tonight. Let's continue to lift the Ukrainian people in our prayers. Let's continue to call for the end to this senseless war, and let's continue to watch the prosperity of the brave people of Ukraine." he said.
The event's main objective was to convey to the American audience that assistance and support to Ukraine is needed and important today, no less than a year ago. The concert became e of a series of events that the Heart & Valor Foundation held together with BLUE et JAUNE consulting on the anniversary of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
After the concert, a charity online auction was launched, which featured children's drawings, things handed over to us by Ukrainian soldiers from the front, stuff by Ukrainian designers, and much more.
All proceeds from these events went to treating injured Ukrainian children and wounded soldiers.
